I'm so happy that I found Engkanto beer while in Manila. After trying the other local beers (you know which ones), I wanted to try some craft beers and this discovery kit did not disappoint. It was plenty of variety to get me through the rest of my trip. And the speedy service was excellent (ordered in the morning and delivered to my hotel by 4pm). My personal faves were the Mango Nation and the Honey Ale.
So I've tried the first one and it's unbelievably flavorful. The hops smacked me off the bat in the best possible way. Second time around, new hops, same good ol' smackin'. It's a seasonal, which is a shame. Then again, many of us keep the same things in the fridge. Why not fill the fridge with Hop Coolture until the new one comes in, right?
